Rev. Fr. Dilex the Director of the hospital along with the managers on the advise of the Chairman the Bishop of Badulla visited the houses of each and every staff member who were affected by the Ditwa cyclone to assess the support they need to get back to the routine life.

Special Medical camp was conducted at the Musjidun Noor Jumma Musjid in Rendapola on 9th December, where hundred of people taking refuge displaced by land slides due to Ditwa Cyclone.

Father Director along with senior management team directed by the Chairman the Bishop of Badulla, visits the houses of our own staff damaged by floods and land slides.

Yet another special medical camp was conducted on 9th December at the Ghanapathy school where many people affected by the Ditwa cyclone are sheltered.

Special medical camp was conducted on 2/12/2025 for families displaced due to landslides and heavy rains at Narangala. There were around 110 displaced persons including children and pregnant mothers at the Narangala Hindu Kovil seeking medical assistance.

Christmas at Central Hospital Badulla
A Christmas competition was organized by the HR to encourage sharing of Christmas Joy and Love with patients and to enhance team work among staff. Accordingly each department were given a theme to make their decoration and display by 15th December.
Today the hospital is lit with plenty of innovative decorations and the hospital has become a Christmas Zone
